Additionally, there's discussion around the potential consequences of combining certain disability programs and the importance of preserving funding for University Centers for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities (UCEDDs).

· Funding Concerns:

The developmental disability community is expressing worry that proposed federal budget cuts, particularly to Medicaid, could negatively affect individuals with disabilities and their families. There are reports on how these cuts could further strain existing support systems.. The proposed FY2026 budget suggests eliminating discretionary funding for University Centers for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities (UCEDDs)

· Accessible Nature Trail:
